Research in Economic History, V. 29 by Christopher Hanes and Susan Wolcott: View Table of Contents.

Aims and Scope

Research in Economic History is a peer-reviewed journal published once a year as a single book-length hardcover volume.

Editorial Objectives

We cover all areas of economic history, including demography and development. We welcome good papers of any length, quantitative or non-quantitative, with or without formal theoretical models and statistics. Our format as a hardcover volume allows us to publish longer manuscripts than most journals can accept. We are also especially well-suited for papers presenting and documenting newly-developed statistical series.

Key benefits

Research in Economic History is a well-established and well-cited journal which has presented work by leading researchers in the field of economic history, including economists, historians and demographers.

Key audiences

Research in Economic History is read by professional economists, historians and researchers in related fields.

Coverage

Economic history of all areas of the world.

Submit Your Paper

To submit a paper, please produce two versions of the manuscript. Version 1 has an ordinary title page with information about the author(s), including institutional affiliation, email address, telephone number, and mailing address. Version 2 has a special title page OMITTING all information that identifies the author, notes of thanks and so on. Both versions should be double-spaced with all graphs and tables placed after the list of references, not scattered within the text.

Make pdf files of both versions, in 8 1/2" by 11" page format. Name these files with a shortened version of the paper title, plus "v1" for Version 1 and "v2" for Version 2. Email the two pdf files with a cover note to:
