Editorial Objectives of the Series

Edited by Lisa Keister, Research in the Sociology of Work is an annual publication that examines current issues related to the sociology of work. For each volume, Keister selects a guest editor who is responsible for deciding which papers get to be included. The volumes are topically organized to offer in-depth analysis of an issue of current interest in the sociology of work.

Topicality

Volumes address a number of key issues dealing with the sociology of work. These topics cover a broad range of fields including, but not limited to, sociology, business, science, economics, politics, history, and anthropology.
 

Key Benefits

Research in the Sociology of Work offers readers an organized publication to access up-to-date information about current issues pertaining to the sociology of work.  The articles are grouped by topic, making it clear and easy to navigate.
 

Key Audiences

Readership includes a variety of professors, scholars, students, and professionals interested in subjects such as sociology, economics, business, political science, anthropology, and history, amongst others.  Many of the publication’s readers are also current or previous contributors.

The Editor

Lisa Keister is Professor of Sociology and  the Director of the Markets and Management Studies Program at Duke University as well as being a Faculty Affiliate of the Asian Pacific Studies Institute and the Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity, and Gender in the Social Sciences.
