Volume 15 examines management science application to data envelopment analysis and efficiency, supply chain and quality applications, and multi-criteria and financial applications.
Section A focuses on DEA to team performance, public higher education systems, US airlines and Indian commercial banks. Section B focuses on cooperative public service advertising, supply chain strategies, optimal management of reverse supply chain and optimal response to multi-response models. Section C explores multi-criteria measures of public and private enterprises, two-dimensional warranty policy decision making, and creating teams. Section D focuses on financial applications, direct foreign investments, conditional values of risk in portfolio models, and asset allocations of mutual funds.

Applications of Management Science is a blind refereed serial publication published on an annual basis.
The objective of this research annual is to present state-of-the-art studies in the application of management science to the solution of significant managerial decision making problems. It is hoped that this research annual will significantly aid in the dissemination of actual applications of management science in both the public and private sectors.
The topics will normally include applied management science studies in finance, management, operations, supply chain and productivity.
It is both the hope and reaction of the editorial board to stimulate the interest of practitioners to the solution of significant managerial decision making problems.
The series is directed toward the application of management science to the solution of significant managerial decision problems. The coverage includes, but is not restricted to:

Dr. Lawrence is a Professor of Management Science in the School of Management at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. His professional employment includes over 20 years of technical management experience with AT&T as Director, Decision Support Systems and Marketing Demand Analysis, Hoffmann-La Roche, Inc., Prudential Insurance, and the U. S. Army in forecasting, marketing planning and research, statistical analysis and operations research. He is a full member of the Graduate Doctoral Faculty of Management at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in the Department of Management Science and Information Systems and a Research Fellow in the Center for Supply Chain Management in the Rutgers Business School
Professor Lawrence’s research is in the areas of applied management science, data mining, forecasting, and multi-criteria decision-making. His current research works include multi-criteria mathematical programming models for productivity analysis, discriminant analysis, portfolio modeling, and supply chain modeling. His research work has been cited over 700 times in over 150 journals, including: Computers and Operations Research, International Journal of Forecasting, Journal of Marketing, Sloan Management Review, Management Science, and Technometrics. He has 300 publications in 26 journals including: European Journal of Operational Research, Computers and Operations Research, Operational Research Quarterly, International Journal of Forecasting and Technometrics. He is, also, Associated Editor of the Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, as well as Associate Editor of the Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation
Dr Gary Kleinman earned his Ph.D. in Management, with a concentration in Accounting, from Rutgers University's Graduate School-Newark.
Dr. Kleinman is an Associate Professor of Accounting in the School of Business at Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ. For the last 5 years, and ongoing, Dr. Kleinman has served as the PricewaterhouseCoopers Professor of Forensic Accounting for the Rutgers University Business School, a part-time position.
He has taught forensic accounting, a wide variety of auditing courses, financial accounting and cost accounting for over twenty years. Dr. Kleinman is a CPA – Colorado and he is the co-author of a very highly praised book entitled Understanding Auditor-Client Relationships: A Multi-faceted Analysis (Markus Weiner, Inc.). Reviewer praise included calling it a "major contribution" to the literature.
