Professor Henry Mintzberg is an internationally renowned academic and author on business and management.

He is currently the Cleghorn Professor of Management Studies at the Desautels Faculty of Management of McGill University, where he has been teaching since 1968.

Henry Mintzberg writes prolifically on the topics of management and business strategy, with more than 150 articles and fifteen books to his name.

His seminal book, The Rise and Fall of Strategic Planning (1994) criticizes some of the practices of strategic planning today.

Dr. Mohamed "Mo" Ibrahim is a Sudanese-born British mobile communications entrepreneur. He worked for several other telecommunications companies before founding his company Celtel.

He is currently on the board of the Mo Ibrahim Foundation, and is a member of the Africa Regional Advisory Board of London Business School.

In addition to his success as a businessman, Mo Ibrahim created the Mo Ibrahim Foundation to award monetary prizes to former African heads of state who have shown exemplary leadership in such areas as promoting political freedom.

The first prize of $5 million was awared in October 2009.

Pierre Beaudoin is President and CEO of Bombardier Inc., a global company that stands as the largest supplier of rail equipment, systems and services, and the third largest manufacturer of civil aircraft in the world.

Mr. Beaudoin studied business administration at Brébeuf College in Montréal and industrial relations at McGill University.
